CompanyCam Not Uploading? Fix Stuck Photos
Photos stuck in the upload queue? Here's how to fix it — and how to avoid it entirely.
Troubleshoot stuck uploads
Check your signal strength
Open your browser and try loading a webpage. If that's slow too, the problem is your connection, not CompanyCam. Move to an area with better signal or wait for WiFi.
Force close and reopen the app
Swipe CompanyCam out of your recent apps and reopen it. This restarts the upload queue and often clears stuck uploads.
Check your phone storage
If your phone is nearly full, uploads can fail silently. Delete old files or apps to free up space, then retry the upload.
Why uploads get stuck
CompanyCam uploads photos as you take them. When your cell signal drops mid-upload — which happens constantly on jobsites — the upload can stall. The app may not always recover gracefully when signal returns. Large photos on slow connections time out. And if you take 20 photos in a dead zone, you now have 20 photos queued to upload on a connection that may or may not hold. This is a fundamental issue with cloud-first photo apps: they assume a reliable internet connection that construction sites rarely have.
LibreCam's approach to uploads
Resumable uploads
If an upload gets interrupted, LibreCam picks up where it left off. No re-uploading the whole file. Lost 80% of the way through? It resumes at 80%.
Offline queue that actually works
Photos queue locally with full reliability. Take 200 photos with no signal. They'll all sync in order when you connect — no manual intervention.
Nothing disappears
Your photos are on your phone first, always. Even if sync never completes, your photos are safe locally. No lost documentation.
